BC Housing - Home Adaptations for Independence
The Home Adaptations for Independence (HAFI) program provides financial assistance to help eligible low-income seniors and people with disabilities in British Columbia to continue to live in the comfort of their home.

Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation (CMHC) - Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program for Persons with Disabilities (RRAP-Disabilities)
Offers financial assistance to homeowners and landlords to undertake accessibility work to modify dwellings occupied or intended for occupancy by low-income persons with disabilities.
Health Canada First nations & Inuit Health, Non-Insured Health Benefits
Provides supplementary health benefits, including medical supplies & equipment, for eligible First Nations people and Inuit.
Motor Fuel Tax
Persons with certain disabilities are eligible for a refund of the provincial tax they pay on gasoline, diesel or propane used in their vehicles. Each eligible person may claim a yearly refund of up to $500.
Personal Supports Information Line
A toll-free Personal Supports Information Line and a single access point for information about programs providing equipment and assistive aids for persons with disabilities. The line provides general program information to British Columbians in need of equipment and assistive aids and will connect people to programs in six provincial ministries: Advanced Education, Children and Family Development, Education, Employment and Income Assistance, Health and Public Safety and Solicitor General. Pharmacare
PharmaCare subsidizes eligible prescription drugs and designated medical supplies.
The Victims Fund provides direct, limited, emergency financial assistance to individual victims of crime in exceptional circumstances for emergency situations of undue hardship where no other source of financial assistance is available.
